The National Reproductive Health Programme Support Project is the African Development Bank's contribution to improving the accessibility of reproductive health care in general, and to promoting and developing health insurance schemes in particular. This project is conducted on this account.

 Activities implemented :

-      Development of a programme for the promotion, development and monitoring of health insurance schemes;

-      Proposal of accompanying mechanisms and tools in the setting up of health insurance schemes;

-      Definition of mechanisms for the monitoring and evaluation of health insurance schemes;

-      Defintiion of mechanisms for the sustainability of health insurance schemes;

-      Promotion of the creation of health insurance schemes in the project zone;

-      Monitoring of health insurance schemes in the project zone.
