Since its creation more than 20 years ago, Conseil Santé has carried out over 150 assignments in more than 40 emerging or developing countries - particularly Eastern European countries, the Balkans, French-speaking and English-speaking African countries - but also France and other EU countries.
We have three types of client:
- governments, administrations and public bodies;
- multilateral and bilateral development funding agencies;
- hospital establishments.
The majority of the contracts implemented by Conseil Santé fall within the scope of programmes linked to sustainable development and poverty reduction, and are financed by the major multilateral and bilateral funding agencies, first and foremost the European Commission and the World Bank. The permanent staff and experts of Conseil Santé are therefore entirely familiar with the procedures of these two institutions (project cycle, tender processes, etc). Conseil Santé also carries out assignments funded by regional development banks (the African Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank) and bilateral cooperation agencies (particularly the French Development Agency, USAID, DFID, GTZ/KFW, etc).
