Support in the process to transfer activities from the Global Fund to the institutions of the National Essential Medicine Procurement System (SNAME) (2019-2022)
This EU-funded project aims to support the process to transfer the purchase, storage and distribution of essential medicines from the Global Fund in DR Congo to the National Essential Medicine Procurement System (SNAME), thus helping to improve the population’s access to quality essential medicines, particularly medicines for malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV/Aids.
The objective of the technical assistance is therefore to:
- support the process of transferring the purchase and management of medicines from the Global Fund to the FEDECAME system;
- provide technical support for the operation of the Monitoring Committee, the coordination and monitoring body of the transfer.

Feasibility mission and definition of a project to support the structuring of a network of provincial reference laboratories in DR Congo according to the One Health approach (CCD1149) (2021)
The AFD is seeking the support of consultants to carry out a feasibility study and definition of a project to support the structuring of a network of provincial reference laboratories in DR Congo. This structuring should take the "One Health" approach into account, which integrates different sectors and disciplines of human, animal, plant and environmental health in the management of emerging epidemics. Laboratories play a key role in this management.

Nigeria Climate Change Response Programme (NCCRP) (2019-2023)
The overall objective of the project is to support the development and implementation of the Nigerian Climate Change Response Programme (NCCRP) to guarantee the country’s economic growth and development strategies whilst meeting its conditional 45 % NDC (Nationally Determined Contribution) targets by 2030.
The specific objective is to contribute to the creation of Nigeria’s GHG emission profile with the aim of pinpointing mitigation actions reducing energy use and costs in favour of renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions. This will be mainly achieved through the creation of sectoral MRVs (e.g. for the energy and waste sectors) and a waste baseline.

Management of a health programme focused on performance-based financing consisting of contracting health facilities in health regions 4 and 5 (2020-2022)
The Ministry of Health and Population has recruited Conseil Santé to act as Contracting and Verification Agency (CVA) in health regions 4 and 5, in order to provide verification, coaching and capacity building services related to the tasks required by the performance-based financing (PBF) approach.
The general objective of the CVA’s mission is to help with the implementation of PBF in regions 4 and 5 (5 health districts) in compliance with the national PBF manual.

Technical assistance for the project to support the pharmaceutical sector and the COMEG (Pharma-COMEG) (2012-2015)
In order to ensure that the Congolese people have access to good-quality, essential generic medicines at very affordable prices, and that are managed and prescribed in a rational manner, the specific objectives of this project are to provide technical support to the:
- Ministry of Health in the implementation of its pharmaceutical policy with regard to regulations, the promotion of essential generic medicines (EGMs) and their prescription at peripheral level;
- COMEG (Congolese central medical store for essential generic medicines) to build its capacity to manage and develop its activities in order to ensure the availability of EGMs throughout the country.

Support for the Development of Health Human Resources - Initial Training (2018)
In the framework of the initial training component of the Health Human Resource Development Support Project (PADRHS), Conseil Santé was mandated by the University of Montreal to help develop a paramedical training offer that meets Congo's health human resource needs. This assignment resulted in: (1) the formulation of recommendations of priority areas for paramedical training taking into account the range of paramedical occupations: (2) the identification of training programmes that could be completed at the level of the paramedical schools and of capacities to be developed in the paramedical schools to meet these needs.

Final Evaluation of the ACP-EU Natural Disaster Facility (2013)
End of project evaluation of the Natural Disaster Facility (NDF) to assess the impact of the project in the short and medium term and produce lessons to be learned for future initiatives of this kind. The overall objective of the project is to improve the human security level of the populations of ACP countries and to reduce the social, economic and environmental costs of natural catastrophes with the ultimate goal of poverty reduction. The specific objective is to reinforce the capacity of preparedness to natural catastrophes by national and sub-regional ACP institutions.
